Jesus, Marriage and Mamahood

Marriage/Relationships

One important thing to have in your marriage.

I love hanging out with my husband! Just chatting and laughing is one of my favorite things! I look forward to our evenings! We laugh every day! It is either “an inside joke” or something that will just crack us up! A text, FaceTime, or a phone call, work-related, family related!

Breaking the ICE

He knows just what to say to make me laugh. Kevin also knows what to do to break the ice or keep me from “being upset” or annoyed! Ugh! this one gets me all the time! You know when you are mad and you try to keep ” that face” but he knows how to break it immediately! I just can’t stay upset for long!

God knew that he would be my husband. God knew I would be his helpmate when it is easy and when life gets tough.

The type of laugh that brings tears and makes your tummy hurt! The smile that brightens the day and comforts your heart!

The remedy that helps when Satan wants to attack our marriage. Say something funny! Remind me of what cracks me up!

Try to laugh, smile, and embrace the things that are positive, pure, and uplifting!

The type of laughing that does not stem from a ” dirty, inappropriate joke”. So, I do not want to hear of anything that is born from darkness. Comedy shows with swearing or hearing the words that are not fruitful.

Say something funny that will warm my heart!

Bible Please:

Ecclesiastes 3:4, NKJV, “A time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance”.

Proverbs 14:13, NKJV, ” Even in laughter the heart may sorrow, And the end of mirth may be grief”.

Proverbs 17:22, NKJV, ” A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.

Psalm 126:2, NKJV, ” Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
