It has been a while. Busy. Busy, busy. The children are growing fast. Not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. Excitedly, spiritually, in their own walks and relationship with Jesus Christ. Cupcake invited the Lord into his life and made a decision to follow Him. How exciting and much prayer paid off, BUT we will NOT stop praying for him, Cake or Cakepop!
So, I wake up early in the morning and try to lie down around 10 pm daily( I decide to get to bed early to stay healthy), and the hours go too fast. The day is filled with the normal things of life. Cooking, tidying up the house, laundry, planning for Sunday School, planning and keeping track of appointments, attending appointments, church, homework, after school activites, and just cuddling and kissing our babies! Honestly, nothing too crazy and hectic in my opinion(this is done on purpose by my husband and I). This is our life. Life with children which is an answer to our prayers. God is faithful. He is so good. Despite the challenges and tiredness, it is worth it, and I would not want it any other way! Praise the Lord!

Sadly, I had some women laugh at me as a mother, saying it’s NOT good enough. That being home as my children attend school outside the home is EASY and like a “vacation”. LOL. That since I am ” a stay-at-home mother,” I am not working nearly as hard as they are. Yes, many women believe this and want to belittle stay-at-home mothers or part-time working mothers, or just mommies in general. I honestly trust that there is a ROOT of hate and jealousy in their hearts. We need to pray for women who push this agenda. Also, for mothers who work outside the home and do not spend quality time with their children, we should be praying for those in our circles, for the Lord to guide them and for them to be obedient to the promptings of the Lord.
So, as you know, I have worked outside of the home with and without children. I know how “both sides” work. Yet, I just smile and sometimes cannot help myself to just laugh at them (in front of them) as they try to put me down. Sad for them as they have NO IDEA, and unfortunately, some may not understand. That is okay. A mother works hard. We sacrifice alot and sadly, we do not need to “prove” this to anyone. You DO NOT need to EXPLAIN or PROVE anything to coworkers, family members, friends, or neighbors.

Just remember mama, you are doing a great job, whether you stay at home or work or both. Being a mommy is the hardest JOB out here. It is ministry and work that will make the largest impact in the years to come. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise.
I want to say that as you go about your day, keep the Lord close to you. Whatever you may be facing or faced. The Lord sees every detail. He is our strength and Deliverer. Do not get so buried in the stuff of this world that you cannot breathe the fresh air of the Lord. Please take time DAILY, even multiple times a day, to just pause, read, and pray. Trust God. He never fails and never breaks a promise.
Finally, do not feed yourself with the garbage of this society. Do not consume yourself with people who will put you down because THEY ARE DOWN. Watch who you listen to, whether a close “friend” or “family member”. Go to scriptures for EVERYTHING. GOD’s word is there to lead and guide us in all things in our lives.
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30, NKJV
I hope to write again soon. May the Lord comfort you and see you through this week!!! 🙂
Thanks for being here and thank you for your support to this ministry!!!
