Resignation from your job:
I never thought I would be blogging. I never thought I would resign from the Police Department. I never thought or planned to stay at home full-time. Yet, that’s how God works. He works things out and is always on time. He has a plan and sometimes we do not know what that may look like.
Blogging is something that I enjoy because of what Jesus has done for me I want to share it. I can share my personal experiences as a follower of Jesus, a wife, and a mother through writing.
Struggles that may come with blogging:
Blogging has NOT been easy. At least when you are a Christian blogger. I have found some support in the community because not so many will write and glorify Jesus, motherhood, struggles, and marriage. I have been fortunate to find a group of Christian Bloggers on Facebook who greatly support me. God gives me the wisdom, strength, and direction to keep writing. My husband, Kevin is my biggest “cheerleader”/ supporter. If it was not for him, I would have stopped writing the same week I built this website. He encourages me every day. I mean EVERY DAY. He reads EVERY blog post. He follows up with every post I create by engaging in conversation and encouragement about what I shared. He encourages others to read and support me. He never said no when I brought up the idea. It was “let me know baby what I can do to support you” and “yes to this and yes to that” throughout the process. I am grateful for my husband who fears the Lord and clearly lives it out in our marriage. He is very supportive! Thank you baby!
I am thankful for the friends who have sent texts and even picked up the phone and call me just to say thank you for posting or I can “so relate” to what you are sharing on “BibleandCake”. Thank you for the family who is reading. Thank you for all who have been there for BibleandCake! You are amazing and I write to encourage through Jesus Christ!!

Although blogging is time-consuming and can be stressful, I enjoy it at times! I hope you do too! Thank you for being patient with the new blog posts and updates!!! As the holiday season passes, I hope to be writing much more to glorify Jesus and to share more about mamahood and marriage!!! God is so good!!!!
