Monday through Friday I set my alarm clock for 630am. This is not a struggle for me because I have always been a morning person. I would like to sleep a bit later, but it does not bother me very much. As I turn off the alarm, the very first thing I do is thank the Lord for another day. We are not promised tomorrow and to wake up and get to do this all over, is not always easy but it is a blessing.
I am a mother of 3! A wife to the very most handsome, God-fearing man and a daughter of the great King Jesus! I have a lot to be thankful for and coming to the Lord every morning for all of that is well worth it.
You can find me rolling over and waking up my husband who would gladly sleep in a little longer and then off to the bathroom to get ready quickly before the crew wakes up!
Since Cupcake began Kinder, our weekday mornings seem to move quickly! Cake follows behind him and Cakepop enjoys the days right at home waiting patiently for his siblings to return! Since staying home full-time, I find myself running errands and planning the next day for the family. I also enjoy watching all the fun things that come with a 14-month-old boy( 15 months next week!!!)! I get warned down but it is a “good tired” if that makes sense! I am blessed to be in good health and shape so my energy levels are pretty on point with three children under 5! Praise the Lord!
However, here are a few of my struggles during the week, maybe you have a few suggestions? Would love to hear from you….comment below!!!
- Problem #1- Slowing down a little bit. When I have things to do I want to make sure I get them done on the same day. This can be a lot sometimes. Hoping to ease a little and extend grace in this area.
- Problem #2-Meal planning. I have a plan for the meals during the week. However, sometimes I like to mix it up at the last minute. Like a thought of something else that is delicious pops into my head and then I do not want what was planned. I do not know if this is an “actual problem”…..
- Problem #3- Getting caught up with too much laundry! I do not like seeing the clothes pile up i the baskets. So I just start washing which seems to be every day? I do not mind laundry but I hate folding!! I hate it. HATE it. I love when my mom visits because she enjoys folding( that’s what she tells me 🙂 ).
