We never know when we will have a bad day. Or a great day? We want to have a great day. Right? We want only the best for our loved ones and ourselves. I want to encourage and remind you to go to God’s word when tough days hit. The days you want to get over quickly. The days that have tears running from your eyes or fuming thoughts in your mind because you are upset with someone. Whatever hard, destructive, hurting, painful day or moment: We should immediately go to our heavenly Father when we have so many questions, worries, frustrations, and concerns.
Before I get out of bed, I always meet with the Lord. I want to invite him into my day and thank him for another day. I cannot say too much but God is so faithful, perfect, and loving. I do not know what I would do without him during the tough times and empty moments I face. What I know is the Bible is here for me. It is here for you. We cannot control many of our situations ( some we can and have a choice to avoid) so when it gets hard for you, I wanted to have a small list to share so you can refer back to. This is NOT all of the verses, just some of my favorites. Be blessed!!!!!
Bible verses: Comfort
Deuteronomy 31:8, NKJV “And the Lord, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”
Matthew 11:28-30, NKJV “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Job 5:11, NKJV “He sets on high those who are lowly, And those who mourn are lifted to safety”.
Bible verses: Peace
John 14:27, NKJV, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”.
Psalm 55:22, NKJV, ” Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved”.
Deuteronomy 31:8, NKJV, “And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”
